2000 :    He was appointed as a Labour & Employment Minister.
2005 :    He also served as the Finance, Urban Development & Commercial Tax Minister during the NDA government.
2009 :    He held the office of Deputy Chief Minister of Jharkhand State.
2014 :    BJP secured the majority in Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Election and he became the Chief Minister of the State.
